I skim-read Private Eye this afternoon in the library and it had a curious little snap-shot on how the Dome's final price-tag was 7% higher than it's initial budget at conception.
The London Olympics' budget has increased 287% from the initial figures. And they're still five years away.
Those figures sound utterly absurd, so I would like to have them checked out.
